Amber has presented itself in every imaginable form in the perfume universe, but Franck Olivier Ambre Gold truly reveals its true essence, undisguised by ingredients that soften its sharp animalic appeal. The fashion house always delivers on its promise, so the composition is distinctive and sincere, yet also distinctive – after all, vibrant, alluring moments with their surprising ability to unfold differently on every skin aren't to everyone's taste.
The bold decision to weave cool, watery coconut milk into the opening accords played into its favor, perfectly countering the cool tonality of tart lemon and tart bergamot. Delicate, tremulous, entangled with the sweet-fruity accents of spring, orange blossom is placed in the central zone of the pyramid and beautifully framed by honeyed royal rosebuds and the tartness of fragile lily of the valley.
Vanilla lace falls like a whimsical curtain in the base of Franck Olivier Ambre Gold, hiding for a certain moment behind a translucent fabric a seductive, fleshy, salty amber, accompanied by warm, sensual musk.
